Remember whatever you build it out of you're going to have to move it, lift it, hold it while you mount it. (note the cherry picker above) which won't work on a gravel driveway. That may be the bigger problem. LOL

No worries moving it, I have a tractor with forks and plenty of rigging straps.

My galvanizer wants me to leave the style on the hinge side open at the top for his process and suggested plugging them with plastic inserts like the one below. If I caulk area around the plug / cap will this be robust enough to keep water out?
