Innova 7111 SDS PRO

Looking to purchase an INNOVA SDS PRO scanner. Unfortunately INNOVA markets the three versions of the 7111 the same. Apparently they use the same SKU & Part number for all three units. The standard 7111 and 7111 SDS offer 34 function tests. The PRO offers 44 function tests. Neither the standard 7111 or the 7111 SDS can be updated to the PRO. Different hardware and firmware. Has anyone actually purchased or used the 44 function 7111 SDS PRO. I found one on Ebay a few days ago but unfortunately made an offer based on prices of the models, 7111 and 7111 SDS, before I did my research and found out the neither the 7111 and 7111 SDS were upgradeable.

From what I am seeing, the 7111 is the consumer version. The 7111pro gets you the higher end software geared to... pro's. If it where me, and the price difference isn't big, get the pro. You won't regret getting more functions that you might need in the future vs the regret of hitting the brick wall of a not quite capable for your needs scanner.
