Just minding my own business on the way to Costco when suddenly a wild Snap-On truck appears.

Terrible picture, irrelevant location, awful story…. But I saw my first Snap-on truck in ages, the last one I sped in the wild was in at my old job and I left that in 2015!

Anyway, north of London England on the M25 ring road. As you can make out *squints* ours are U-haul sized 3.5 tonne baby trucks. It was raining because England.

I saw 1 snap -on truck in January on US. 211 eastbound. 2 Snap-On trucks in February. One was on Rushville Rd. in Dayton,VA. Would love to hear about those super rare Cornwell/ Mac truck sightings.

I saw a MAC truck today in Red Bank, SC but I don't know if it was actually in service or if it was a retired truck that the shop bought for whatever reason. It looked pretty grungy when I drove by and nobody was around it.

I see a SnapOn truck and attached trailer everyday. The local guy is my neighbor lol. He covers a HUGE area up here now and grumbles about it all the time. I don’t grumble about it at all because I have buckets of broken SnapOn things that I can cut up and make custom tools with on the farm.

Saw a Mac truck today just outside of my neighborhood, but I was headed to work and didn't have time to stop and check it out. Also, not a tool truck but related, I saw an LKQ truck a few minutes later. I didn't know they had their own fleet, I assumed they just used various freight carriers.

We are doing a structural remodel of a Mini dealership to turn it into a new Genesis dealership. MAC shows up on Mondays to service the BMW dealership (all the same organization) and Snap-On shows up on Fridays.

I saw a "USA TOOLS" tool truck yesterday in Florida. It was driving opposite direction and there was no time to even consider getting a pic. Anybody ever been on one? Looks like they just sell the same stuff you can get on Amazon?

Nifty Freightliner Matco truck in Santa Fe today, with a proud driver (the wife of the franchise owner). I don't remember seeing this cab style before -- it's a 2023 model, apparently.

Went to visit the Matco guy and found the MAC guy too! Just the other side of Villa Park. Our area is pretty lucky to have several Snappy guys, a Matco guy and a couple of MAC guys.

I frequently spot a Snap-On and MAC guy in Pensacola, FL. I have seen Snap-on, MAC, and Cornwell trucks in Milton, FL on my commute to work.

I don't have pictures to share, but the best part is my wife knows the game (or I should say knows me) and asks me when she is sitting shotgun if I want her to take a pic of the Snap-On truck to get the driver's number. I always say "no, I'd like to stop working at some point soon." I don't have a soda/pop habit (referencing the other thread), but I do/did have an affinity for Snap-On tools.

Years ago we had one in Roanoke but I mean it’s been years like 2004 or 2005. I only remember it because it stood out from other tool trucks for me because it had blue on it. He was parked at a Sheetz in Salem Virginia. We also used to have on in Christiansburg where I work apparently but everyone I work with that was there when they had him said he just randomly disappeared and never came to collect his money or anything like that and nobody could ever find anything on his franchise or himself. They said that’s been like 2012 or before. It just seems Cornwell doesn’t do well in this area. I personally wish we had a Cornwell truck though.

Jealous! I've been trying to find a local guy since I moved this spring, but haven't had much luck so far.

To keep this on topic, saw this Snap On truck yesterday as I was leaving work. Intersection of Sibley & Toledo in Brownstown, MI.1780566907269.png

i'm over here in the RVA, midlothian area to be more specific and we recently got a greenhorn CW dealer a few months ago to much excitement. i used to own a CW toolbox setup and still have a bunch of their hardline tools from my time living out in nashville where CW had a much greater presence. new dealer was awesome honoring warranty to my broken tools that have been in my boxes for decade plus and i've spent some money with him. notable purchases have been made in US locking 1/4 and 3/8 extensions sets for $100 and $120, repectivebly
