You're a bad influenceYou might find this interesting: These Mini Pliers are Completely Unnecessary - I love it!
Looking forward to your review.
I had handled them, and looked at the specs. Iirc, they are a tad heavier than Knipex, and not quite as tight, but seemed decent. 95% of the tool for 35% of the price ain’t bad - if that impression holds with use.
Speaking of which….You're a bad influence

Speaking of cheap tools in the auto section, I like this brake caliper spreader for $8.50.I like that. But realistically, these only work when the retaining ring isn't completely rusted to ****![]()

Those are V-series Craftsman/Facom sockets on an aluminum tray. Crazy!Anyone needing 3/8 drive deep sockets to fill in some sets, Pal has them for $12.

Thanks for the heads up on these. Very tempting! Unfortunately it looks like the metric range had several skips that I just can't ignore (18mm for example) so I think I might hold off on those.Speaking of sockets, Princess Auto has Astro Pneumatic "Nano socket" clones. They come in little foam trays too.

That too often happens on a good deal, only saw them yesterday while looking for something else. I try to cover the "clearance" and "surplus" sections regularly, you never know what's in there, but does take some time.Ou

My brother had a Husq from CanTire. He looked at it, figures the box store models weren’t the same as the dealer models, and took it back. I think it would have been a good saw, but he figured he could do better. My Poulan saw needs a new bar, new chain and new chain brake... Don't think it's worth putting over $110 in parts into this piece of junk. Really wishing I had seen those reconditioned Husqies before they went out of
Going to have a lunch counter too! This will make it to the Mississauga store.New PAL concept store in Winnipeg opened this week -

Wonder what parts of this will make it out to other stores…?
(Selling me a pint while I browse is a brilliant idea)

Yes, it's operating oddly.anyone else having problems with the new Prince Albert website?
always sketchy when any website says we upgraded and you have to reset your passwords (because we don't have them anymore)
concerning that I get invited to reset my password everytime I log in but if I just wait a bit it ends up logging in to my account and sending me a link to reset it even if I dont click it.
cart gets deleted after minimal inactivity. I currently can't place an order. their phone cs is completely useless: "yeah some people seem to be having some issues anything else today?"
