It has an exterior features. A fantastic, authentic vintage red patina with decades of honest shop character. The main steel tub is incredibly solid. There's a typical surface rust solvent staining in the bottom of the basin as expected for its age, but the metal remains robust with no major rot holes through the tub. I turned it on it hums but have not had any liquid to run through it or anything so it probably could use a really great washing.
The original brass aluminum date plate is perfectly intact and legible displaying patent dates from June 27th 1944 and April 1946. The serial number is 5864-b.
