Thanks for that. Yes, I have more pics and will post them up later. After this garage gets built I'm doing a build thread.
Thanks again.
Zim
I would just continue your build thread here. You already have people following it and it can easily have a title change if need be. It's your choice.

EDIT: you're talking build thread on the Mustang ?

I second that thought. Just post all your doings on your thread. We are interested in all of it, and love pictures.

Yeah not sure how y'all do things. I've seen them inside the garage gallery and seperate threads. I think I'll just include it in the gallery so they can watch the finish out of how I use the garage for now.

Some guys do both, doesn't really matter.

As a fellow member and I'm trying to follow along with what someone is doing, I'd rather see it in all in one place, less threads to read or less chance to miss one if it gets buried quickly.

As a Mod, doesn't matter, if you feel you want to merge a build thread into your garage build thread, let me know, it's just a few clicks.

Well the Bank called and told us it'll be a few more months before we can get financing on the garage. I'm pissed. I wanted to get this thing in the ground before the Winter but nope, February. Lots of projects to keep me busy tho. I'll keep you updated.
Zim
But if you owed them money they would be calling all the time if you were a minute late.

Well November and December has passed and I've got nothing done. LOL. Had shoulder surgery to repair a blown out Biceps tendon so Christmas was a bust. Getting some range of motion back but it's been painful.
Got some more electrical outlets wired and got my Christmas present for my little shop built. Love the Omni Wall Products. When the garage is built there will be more.

These DREO products are amazing. We needed a humidifier and this one is wonderful. Bluetooth and functions just like my wall heater in the tool room. Awesome.

IMG_3418.jpg

Got the battery charger finished up. I'm not happy at all with the LifePo 4 lithium battery I got. It's horrible. Going lead acid or AGM for the house battery soon.

Well, it's been some time so here we are. Just left the bank for some money for the garage. Now the wait begins. LOL
We've decided to go 22x30x11 metal. I'll not get into the manufacture as this causes differences of opinion. Local guy I can shake hands with. LOL. Been busy fixing things and hunkering down for the winter. Good to see the flowers popping up and the birds chirping. I'll let y'all know when we break ground.
Zim

Fixed the room heater. New thermopile, thermostat and back to new.

The most embarrassing thing was getting stuck in the driveway. Had to winch myself out. (some ice under the snow) New tires coming soon.

Depends on which Firestones. The highway tread versions that came on my Smashed Truck™ were squirrelly as hell if the pavement was the least bit moist. I couldn't wait to get some fresh BFG ATs on it. I bet on ice they wouldn't even move the truck.

Well it's been a minute right? Holy Winter. We did well though. No pipes froze, stayed warm and didn't cost much to live. LOL. Finally got the money for the garage. Decided to move it to the west in back of the old garage foundation to save some destruction money. I'll tear this out later, or load up some dirt and gravel and put up a carport. Better idea anyhow. Moved the trailer again and broke the water staub out back. Good thing the previous owner put in a shut off separate from the house. Smart guy. Looks like we're only a month out for concrete, maybe sooner and we'll order the garage metal when we get some equipment in the yard. LOL
Y'all hang in there. It's coming.

Built my second wood project last week. I'm happy. We needed more storage in the kitchen and I'll expand my coffee experience with the added space. LOL. Expresso machine coming out of storage. LOL.

Wow sorry I missed this. Yeah I'm a Firestone fan but these tires just did not last. Great traction on the road and off but mileage did not make the grade. I'm going cheaper and maybe better with some Open Country or Toyo's.

Finished up the new storage space in the kitchen. Always wanted a coffee station and some place to put a weather station, radios and other storm **** we need. Now it's centrally located. Also took some time to stake out the garage. We'll be a lot happier with it back here as apposed to over the old garage foundation. I may order a carport to finish out the whole deal. The washer used to be in the kitchen and was in the way of the hutch so I cut the risers off and capped them. Tried to use compression fittings and that turned into a fountain under pressure. Blew the pipe clear out and had water bouncing off the ceiling. LMAO. Bought a new tool, pipe threader, and fixed it the proper way.

Well finished the Coffee Center Cabinet or Hutch, whatever you want to call it. Put on some doors and found a base for the front of the machine. Thought is was very cool, $26 I think. I'm really happy with it. Added some pimp lights to look rich. LOL
Waiting on the concrete guys again. Rain yesterday but this guy is ready. I don't care if he muds it up a bit. We're dry here and we needed it. More info later

Keep us updated on the build. Are you doing it or having it built?
No I'm too old for a 17' ladder. LOL. They are sending a crew up from Arkansas to put it up. I considered a wood stud built the cost was double. I got the building for just under 10k. More money for a wood stove and AC. LMAO

Well the pour finally happened. And then it rained. LOL
Welcome to Missouri. Greatest weather station called for no rain, until it did. We got it done though and it's perfect. It's just a little garage but I'm stoked and it will provide hours, months and years of pleasure. And, that's really what's it all about.

This slab is slicker than a marble countertop. I'm not doing the sparkle flake epoxy thing. I'll seal it and that's it. I had no idea the concrete made heat. While curing it was 89 degrees and the dirt beside it was 74 degrees. Cool science fact.
Zim
The heat of the cure is pretty wild!

My last shop, I placed a soaker hose on the slab and kept it wet for several days after the pour.

At the day job, I had a house with suspended structural slabs that specifically required water cure.
