I'm pleased when I come across S-K stuff

The problem that I have is.... I just can't seem to remember which sockets are the ones that I need to fill gaps and holes....
This size or that size....
...this size lettering or that size...
...do I need 12 pt or 6 pt?

...and it seems I guess wrong just about every time :ROFLMAO:
I've finally decided to make a list

I came across these yesterday

I feel your pain - so many iterations o_O! I keep a list (with pics) on my phone of the current project gap-fillers I need.
Quite handy.
BTW, got any extra SK Wayne stuff? I need a 45116 1/2" shallow 6-point 3/8" drive socket and a 4426 spark plug socket.

I've avoided the Wayne stuff because it would be More to look for
But.....now that I am making a list, I'll be on the lookout for you

Trying to fill holes in socket sets is along the same line as trying to fill an inside straight at a poker table with five other players.
The odds simply are not in your favor.
Lists are requisite. Detailed lists. Lists which include font style, number of bands, crosshatched or knurled, U.S.A. or not U.S.A., "tools" or "tool", Super or Select, Wayne or Lectrolite, raised panel or round shank, polished heads or Japanned finish....
When you're in some dark garage digging through boxes of loose sockets and wrenches it all becomes a blur.
That list will come in real handy.

@nz44tool
Could you have left out a zero in the model # of your spark plug socket?
40426?
Not SK Wayne, regular ole SK.....
If so, I have it for you (y)

I found a shallow 3/8" Wayne......but 9/16

Thanks, genog & Lesser Son! I much appreciate you digging through your S-K stuff to look for these!
I'm getting the part numbers I cited from SK-Wayne catalog 90118 (1968). (Internet Archive)
I'm trying to build up "Starter Set No. 4512", a very basic 3/8" drive set.
I have the box, all the shallow sockets (except the 45116 1/2"), and both extensions, but I lack the 13/16" spark plug socket and the ratchet. (I have the right part number ratchet, but it's not a -Wayne.)
The spark plug socket part number in that catalog is given as 4426 (also in other Wayne catalogs).
