Very nice collection!
In general I don't like doubles. I don't see them useful, no proper handle etc.
Nevertheless the idea is not dead, look at a brand new Wera Joker:

O.K., my Double Diamond Calk Horseshoe Co adjustable wrench set is starting to come together. This is the 6”-8”. The last photo is with its older brothers, the 8”-10” double and the 10”-12” double. Now I’m on the hunt for the 4”–6” to round it out!
Nice. The oldest one is the 10-12 due to the USA After Duluth, Minn. likely late 1920's. the others are a bit newer maybe 1930's pure guess.
Good luck on the 4-6's old style.

I finally got a nice 4 x 6. It needed a little clean up and a new screw. For now I have a NOS Crescent screw in there. Slightly long, must be for a 6 incher.

You could cut the pin with a dremel and use a diamond blade and then put a new slot in.in the end carefully, I have done that. Might be way easier than trying to find a old style 4" pin.

My kid sister worked as a part time cashier in a local hardware store
They sold good quality tools, Diamond among others....
She used her employee discount to pick up a few tools for me

It's been so long, I am not sure which of these were purchased back then
