This is my road chest that I bought in 1984. I was into motocross hence the stickers. I also like beer and Sammy Hagar so... A Cabo Wabo
visit seemed appropriate. I went to Mexico and Vegas locations. I know, pathetic.

Some Mac air tools, a cart I got about 2 years ago from the local Snap on dealer, my creeper and some more screwdrivers on the cart.

Here is a MAC SS10 cheap razor blade scraper, at the time I thought it was a cheap gimmick for the deaer to promote their tools, but 30 years later it is still in my box and used.IMG_0953.JPG

do you want to revive an older MAC thread?

I think there is one for Cornwell too

Correction Private Lugnutz pointed me to the existence of an earlier thread :
There is an earlier thread on MAC tools - please forward them to the original thread

Couple of Matco's, PGJ20 20" pliers and a RPB1616AM is the pry bar.IMG_0993.JPG

The markings are gone but I think it is a Matco SDMR0106B series screwdriver

That ratchet is a huge improvement over the one that came in the set. One of my favorites. Looks to be a desirable S-K extension as well.

This Cornwell 1/4" drive ratchet was mixed in with a Craftsman set that I bought today

One of my favorites too. The selector can be switched with a thumb but doesn't switch on accident during rapid use.

I'd like to find a selector for that ratchet.....I also heard that the kits were no longer available

I called MAC and asked about kits for the MR, XR and VR series ratchets. They are indeed discontinued and if you need a kit or warranty for any discontinued ratchet they will give you a credit of the last retail cost of that ratchet that they show, which for the MR5 was like $60 toward another ratchet or tool. Not sure if I had to send in to them or they would pay the freight to send my ratchet back. So when those ratchets fail you no longer get a new ratchet or repair kit but a partial credit toward a new style Mac ratchet or maybe even just a credit toward another MAC tool. Kinda ***** but better than nothing.

A couple recent Mac aquisitions, 3/8" dr set and 1/4" dr Mac Sabina set, missing only the period correct universal joint and the correct metal box. A incomplete set of orange screwdrivers missing the #1 and #2 screwdrivers.IMG_1477.JPGIMG_1478.JPGIMG_1479.JPGIMG_1480.JPG
