We’ve determined the actual Hammacher Schlemmer & Co. tool case manufacturer and have updated their new Pg 51 in ‘The’ Guide.

It was The Taylor Tool Case Co., Bridgeport, CT. They also started machinist tool case manufacturing in 1907 and have been added on Pg 50. Pictures of their 5/3 case, 5/4 case, 6/4 case and their 3/2 chest are included. This may help to define an unknown…….toolboxted

I was told that the area where you live was a very important route to the underground movement leading up to the civil war; at least that was the story I was told many years ago.
