Craftsman 5/16 reversible wrench parts

Are there any craftsman Gurus on here who can give me an idea of what type of spring and detent I need to restore my craftsman reversible 5/16 wrench, it came apart and the spring and detent have gone missing.

Given that its a US manufactured wrench, he may be wanting to keep the wrench instead of getting a Chinese one.

I have a fair amount of Chinese ratchet wrenches.
None have fallen apart!
I take no joy in making that statement either.

Call and ask about parts availability or a rebuild kit.

You may end up with a new wrench.

Would the China made parts fit into the USA wrench body?

If the wrench has a "GK" in the item number, it should be made by Danaher Corporation/Kingsley Tools. It looks like they may have made the same wrench under other names, but that looks to be a research project.

If you love the tool, I would wait for someone's POS "GK" wrench to come up for sale on eBay and then use that for parts.
