My wife has a wooden doll crib that she inherited from her grandmother. I would guess the crib is 90+ years old.

My wife remembers playing with it as a child and thinks it is her late mother’s.

I’ve attached a photo of one of the wheels of the crib. The wheels are steel. The “rubber” on the wheels has all dried up and is falling off. The rubber was held in place by a piece of steel wire that was inside the rubber. The wire remains but the rubber is just dried up and is dropping off in tiny chunks.

Couple of questions:

Anyone know of a website that sells replacement parts for antique toys such as this one?

What about a replacement “rubber wheel” to stretch over the metal rim”. Maybe some sort os pipe gasket? Where would I go to find something like this? The metal edges of the rim are fairly sharp and would scratch a wood floor if the rubber came off. Ask my grandkids about this.

I’m open to any and all suggestions.

Thanks
