Where to mount Garage door opener wall station?

I just had openers installed on my shop garage doors, WOO-HOO! I went with the Medium Duty Commercial Liftmaster MJ5011. My question is, where does everyone like to mount their wall operator stations? I have seen next to the overhead door, directly below the opener and also next to the nearest man door. I do have windows in the doors, but they are too high to see out of. Walls are currently wide open, so no problem running wires in the wall so they are out of sight when I eventually get insulation.

Maybe consider running wire to several locations in case your first choice doesn't work out well. Bell wire is dirt cheap. ALSO, I'm pretty sure these can hooked up in parallel so you could have them at more than one place.
FWIW mine are by the man door.

I always put mine at the door I walk into the garage from. If that is far from OH door itself, I would put one next to the OH door too.

Thanks guys. Man door is roughly 3ft from the wall the OH doors are on. I was leaning towards next to the man door.

I always put them next the man door too. Quite often you will just reach in and hit the opener when you are outside and need to grab a shove.

That's a commercial looking operator station. In industrial projects those things are typically next to the overhead door, but at home I would put it next to the man door so I can hit it when I enter, or like what was said above if you're doing something in the yard and just want to reach in and push the button. In your case they're only a few feet apart so it doesn't matter much either way

That's my train of thought as well.

Thanks guys for the feedback. All these responses are confirming my initial thoughts of placing next to the man door.
Also, I added a pic of the shop in the first post for reference.

I have the operator next to the man door but frequently run the door off the MyQ app

One next to the roll up door, one next to the man door. We also had a key switch that was in a locked covered box on the outside so we could open it if we drove up to it. The lock on the cover was the common padlock we used for driveway chains, etc, but you still needed the actual key for the key switch as well.
Of course we had remotes in the cars, but they were hit and miss....
