Hi all,

Currently losing our minds in the UK heat, but that hasn't stopped me researching some bits I collected recently. I gave a lovely Huot box to a friend as a wedding gift (1956!). I dare not look up its value. however, I have researched my Canadian Snap On mid and bottom cabinets and have pinned them down to 1958 manufacture, with the help of Google AI (first time I have ever used it). Apparently, Tenite badges, original keys and keyring and smooth red paint mean I have a bit of a special combo on my hands, KC-600 and KRA-545, especially as they would have been very costly to personally import. I think the original owner may have served and brought them here with him. He was then a mechanic of some 50 plus years before sadly passing away. The gems I keep uncovering are astonishing. Any help on these and any questions I have in the future would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Tonk.

Location
The romantic hills of central Umbria, Italy,
Watching the weather, you guys up there may catch a bit of a break... down here, we're stuck in it for at least a week. We watch this guy, "Mr. Weatherman Europe" online, which gives a lot broader view than our local weatherman. Maybe longer. Ugh. Trying to talk our daughter (also up there, works as a doc for NHS) into buying an AC unit just to help cool off her flat, but she's not sure the electrics would handle it.

And it's not yet August... :FIREdevil

What the heck is a kc-600? KRA-545 is likely dated 1980s. Do you have a pic of these boxes?

Hi all and thanks for the welcome. I meant KC-545, both Canadian made. I bought them with a 1956 Huot Super Deluxe 100 box, so the set ties together nicely era wise. I only have a few photos (I haven't cleaned the 545 yet). Apologies for the photos of the cab, but KC-545 is clear to the naked eye. KC-600 similarly confirmed on the matching mid cab. I spent a good while describing every feature to Google AI, let's hope it's close! The 600 had cardboard on top and in the drawers since new. The Huot sat on top of it.

Hey, what are the odds of that!? Thanks for the welcome, I'm uncovering so many parts in this collection, it's great fun to go through it all.
