I got bored today and took apart a pair of Porter Ferguson Drip Rail repair pliers. There appears to be some paint on them but it's tough to tell and if there is, I have no idea what color it was. I have them in Evapo Rust doing their thing but was wondering if anyone knew the original color (if painted) so I can paint them.

Without looking I thought for sure the reddish orange that I always associate with PF but I looked at mine and it’s black, not saying every generation of Porter Ferguson’s were but this one like the black is original paint. Saw some online where jaws were black and handles red so……

I was thinking the red color as well but who knows. I may just paint them red for the hell of it.

Those other tools are beautiful. Let me know if you are eve looking to sell anything. I'm always looking for body tools. I have a bad addiction 😂
