Oh heck no...some of its just stupid because I haven't decided yet. I'm not buying 3 different same size adjustable wrenches .....am I....
It is not uncommon for me to need (yeah I said need) two ratchets with two of the same size sockets so that I can hit both sides of a bolt with a nut at the same time.

So there's your excuse for needing at least two...

You're welcome!

Put together my ED26 order today, and realized that there is nothing there that would receive a discount, so ordered today. Maybe take a little pressure off Jori. Below is the stuff I ordered. The Mini Pry Bars are because someone else mentioned them here. The various screwdrivers are replacements for lost or worn out.

If you want a small 3/8" ratchet, grab a couple of these

Wright Tool #3430 3/8" Drive 4-3/4" Compact Ratchet (3430WR)

Or the flex head version

3/8" Drive Wright Miniature Flex Ratchet 5-1/2" Contour Handle (3440WR)
:hellobye:new here. Jori's insta page brought me here.

But that there mini ratchet, bought over the counter with actual cash 30 years ago in Chicago was what sent me, unknowingly, in search of Jori. It's been a revelation. Glad to be on board.

Here's an idea for those who haven't seen this in the past! Old stock of SK T-handle allen wrenches. They look and feel just like Bondhus to me. One year I built the whole SAE set for a fair enough price. And those are some very stiff T handles.

And you might even find the organizer for under $10 on Amazon:

Another old SK stock item that I have resisted for years, because I'm just set for needle noses, but look really nice and the price is right:

I have those pliers in my wishlist too 😀 but those t handle Allen wrenches will be added too and like the color.

Hello! First time poster, long time lurker...
Just an FYI - a few months ago, I picked up both of the Crescent Convertible nut driver sets (that are on the HJE Day list). They are adorable, and seem to be totally functional, but both of the sets have the dreaded butyric acid smell. If that sort of thing bothers you.

It’s an acquired stank

Didn’t see the shirts listed for 2026 to order. Anyone have a link?

Hate to say it but I do have one Wright item in my cart but can’t pull off $250 to get a free shirt. Already have had that 3/8” drive 1/4” body ratchet pointed out in this thread for 15 years.

Literally already have 3 sets of metric wrenchs to 32mm and 3 sets of standards to 1 5/16” among several smaller sets and other specialized sets. Also have even more in sockets. Unfortunately can’t bring myself to buy more when I have more than I already need.

Have to draw a line and go cold turkey at some point.

Last minute entry into the HJE Day giveaways: Mayhew. Check out the details here. There’s probably going to be one more of these…
Already had one Mayhew item in the cart but had to add the spring punches. I have honestly been wanting a set but only see the nail set for sale locally so that was a good reminder.

The simple Magnolia Counter Brush is probably my favorite Epstein's Day purchase:

The simple Magnolia Counter Brush is probably my favorite Epstein's Day purchase:

That's unexpectedly inexpensive @ $6.25. Hard to tell the size. Does it have the typical (from my memory) 8 to 10 inches of bristles common for most counter brushes?

I just checked the Lowes hardware people -- they'll sell you an eight inch Quickie (brush) for $11.50. And I'm guessing the COO is Indonesia or something similar.

That makes this Texas-made Magnolia brush a damned good deal.

I checked the Magnolia catalog. Model 58 has 9 inches of bristles. I know this is a very GJ thing to say, but... you should check out their online catalog, it's neat how many different kinds of brushes they make.

I rebuilt my shopping cart since I lost what I had in it, although I changed it a bit. I think the last couple of years I have bought something Channellock and continued it this year.

I'm also ordering a half dozen Tekton 6-n-1 screwdrivers and 25pc security bits. I'm going to build a small tool pouch for each of the guys on my platoon and give them as a Christmas gift this year. I'm hoping the Allens in the security bits will be long enough to reset fire alarm pull stations.

I bought one a year or two ago, and it kicks a$$. I keep looking at HJE's Magnolia category for other things I didn't know I need, that one is so great. Got the toothbrushes, wire brushes.... Already.

Use mine for project pre cleaning before the vacuum, truck bed, shed floor.

So don't tell anyone but I added the t-shirts and turned on the discount code so you can check to see if it works. If it doesn't then you're not yet signed up so message me. You are on your scouts honor to wait till midnight to get your order in.
Where do we get the discount code?
