Great pictures Dave. Love the truck and how well it turned out. Looks like a great trip with the boys and I agree, there was a LOT of wear on those suspension shackles and equalizer. WOW!

Had some AC troubles on the 2008 raptor RV, the trip to Yellowstone is coming up in a week or so so I turned the heat on, fridge on, AC unit and checked it all out. Well Monday when I came home from work the trailer was 100° inside and no AC blowing. I determined the motor would pick up and blow if I spun it but not after cycling the power on and off. So that told me to replace the Capacitors for the unit. In my search for a new Capacitor I found a new motor combo kit for a good refresh on what looked like the original parts.
All replaced now and blowing cool air now!

Yes, coming out of South Dakota I caught a tire that had started to shed its tread off. I was in a gas station and checking hubs and kicking tires and found it. This time I hadn’t stopped and we were running pretty fast down the freeway doing 75-80. Self inflicted pain I guess. I swapped the new spare tire on that was replaced from the last trip. Got to my destination and waited for the return trip to replace all five of the others. I have two spare tires I need to replace also and I’ll have our local jacks tire n oil get them
Seen black bears, brown bears, one little grizzly being chased by coyotes and a messs of elk, those wolves that were ever so close to the road and some antipope and buffalo for sure

If you seen how far away from the geyser he was you would understand.
It’s lone star geyser, it’s a couple of mile hike to that geyser and rarely busy with people. Eruption is untimed, various lengths and so forth. Pretty awesome spectral actually. But he was a long ways away. The petroglyph the water is coming out of is actually about 15’ tall

The previous owner had the car wrapped, when they did that they sanded rock chips, fixed dents with bondo and wrapped right over the top. Basically hiding all the damage to the car under the vinyl and selling it off

I wet sanded the hood with 3000g and then buffed it back to a gloss then ceramic coated. The bumper has clear pealing off. I used compressed air to blow off very large sections of clear coat. Not much a polish will do for that so it will need repainted

I agree Dave. I've seen some wrapped vehicles and what was under them after removal of the wrap and it was evident why they wrapped it. Personally, I'm not a fan of wrap, I prefer a deep gloss paint job.
