Thanks. The stand is fastened to the composite pad. It's is sitting on a pad of four 24" pavers with a leveled base. It's not fastened to the pavers so you can kind of rock it if you push hard enough. I'm thinking of using some decorative stone or something similar to cover it. It would look better and also add some stability. I forgot to set it to auto last night and just had the fan in manual so it was 74 degrees out there this morning even though the temp was set to 64 degrees. Outside temp was 35 degrees. Turned it down to 62 and put it in auto......because the heat pump offered is older technology that no body would buy if they have any knowledge of heat pumps, great for the company selling/installing's profit margin. If offered, your getting screwed.
