Says sold out already for me. Seems unlikely 79 would have sold that quickly.
79 sets at $149 is just under $12k. Amazon sells that set for $809. I think someone or several someones bought them all. Or it was a price error and they decided the quick fix was to mark them sold out.

Doubt it - they send out daily emails with discounted products, anything from semi tires to mini-splits to pepperoni pizza throws. Some of the stuff (like the Irwin set) goes super fast.

But the "everyday low price" is $167.42? I've never seen an Irwin set that size for that regular retail price.

They just never sold it for more. I stocked up on Kosmos BBQ Sauce for $1.29 a bottle, that Meijer sells for $7.99 a bottle, and Menards lists it as regularly $1.99. Great sauce, but no good reason to sell either item that low other than clicks on the site or feet in the store.

Uh, yeah, I do...because they do this every day. It's nothing new or unusual, not an accident, just a good deal.

They're buyouts or closeouts/clearance. The "everyday" price is the their discounted price, then you can get a rebate on top of that. That's just what they call it. It's often things they don't usually stock.

Picked up my set Sunday…wow, much larger case than I expected. What a comprehensive set of US made tooling all for $159.05 OTD…. Thanks for the lead @GirchyGirchy.
You're welcome, glad you were able to get one...and that it's still US-made! I have the same set myself that I bought years ago for somewhere between $200-300, it's nice.

Just got an email saying there was a discrepancy with my card details. Entered them the same as I have been everywhere else.

I checked eBay though and it looks like a few people have gotten the set new for around the same price recently. Best offer accepted under $200.
