Yep, I saw that as well online. Pretty much identical except for the branding. Gizmos all over the place. Cheers, four.cycle!

I knew I’d seen it too. I could not figure out where I’d posted it. Glad you closed the l loop for me.

If you're curious about that, Neal was apparently collecting licensing fees. Per the USPTO, the patents (it looks the most like the third, but may use features of the predecessors, not uncommon in strategically extending rights) were not assigned to Utica, King Cutter, or any other mfgr.

Found a pair of Utica straight-handled hog ring pliers.

They are marked: "U.D.F.&T. Corp Utica, N.Y. 819" and are 7 inches long.

For confusion:
- The 1939 catalog had no 3-digit model number hog ring pliers. It did have a model 20818 with straight handles.
- The 1950 & 1956 catalogs had no model 819 pliers. They did have model 818 straight-handled hog ring pliers.
- In the 1960 & 1968 catalogs they did list an 819, but it had bent handles. They had an 818 with straight handles.

In summary, I could not find a straight-handled 819 in any of the catalogs, but the model 818 plier did have straight handles.

My 819 was straight-handled and @gleman posted a bent-handled 818 hog ring plier earlier in this thread. Our findings don't match the above catalogs.
