I have the assist spring break three times in Kershaws, probably from excessively fidgeting with them, so no more. 2x on a Leek and 1x on a Blur

Current carry is a Benchmade Bailout that I love. The scales are "grivory" and it's super light.

Couldn't make up my mind this morning.

Spyderco Para 3: Blackout S30V. This is a factory second that I bought direct during one of the few times Spyderco had the sale online (wanna say around 2020-21). To this date, I can't tell you what's wrong with it; and I got a $200+ knife for around $50. I wanted a PM2, but they sold out pretty quick. The Para 3 was one I wanted to try, but not at MSRP. Darn thing is perfect for most of what I need.

Nothing expensive or sharpened lately, although I may upgrade someday.
3" is the legal limit here, 2.5" in Chicago.
My $8 Menards Guidesman is 3". Victorinox is a trade show giveaway, but it has all the essential tools. 🍾IMG_0773.jpeg

For what handles 99% of what I need, the Fieldmaster/Huntsman is perfect. That was the first decent Swiss Army Knife I ever had.

Like many I have a bunch of knives including several Spyderco, SOG, Buck, Cold Steel etc. Mostly because I've lost a couple over the years I usually carry a Ganzo, they are one of the best "cheap" knives made.

This is what was clipped into the front pocket of my 501’s when I clicked onto this thread. No cigar... no Pappy Van Winkle. 😎

I did just finish a Negroni though… I had a double Manhattan yesterday about this time. Bourbon is good.

My brother-in-law has 2 bottles of Pappy. Too good to drink he says.., keeps the bottles in his gun safe next to his silver bullion next to some nice vintage long guns.

I carry and use/abuse a 20 year old Blur just about every day. It's one of my most favorite knives.
I have rebuilt it once with free parts from Kershaw around 5 years ago when the torsion bar failed.
It's been sharpened so many times, the blade has lost a good bit of it's original recurve shape and the serrations are mostly gone.
It's not super obvious but this knife has a thin profile that is very comfortable to carry clipped to a pocket.

This knife is still in production but has had some revisions.
I don't like the current cerakote blade finish as much as the DLC coating of the old ones. It's been unbelievably abrasion resistant.

This Lenox utility knife also got carried and used today and this week. It's put a lot of food on my table. I used to wear these out in about a year and buy a replacement. But this particular one just wont die. Must have come off the line on a Wednesday.

Nice knife!
Yours on the left, mine on the right. The partially serrated blade seems like a nice feature.

I have dozens and dozens of pocket knives. I used to carry a Leatherman religiously. At one point I probably had 6 blades in multi tools and pocket knives and key chain devices on my person almost daily. Those days are behind me. Now, the one and only knife on me in my right pocket 90% of the time is a Milwaukee Fastback 6in1.

The Gerber Lockdown gets to tag along in my lunch bag, and gets left pocket time a couple days a week. I always make sure I have it if I know I’ll be doing vinyl or graphics.

My favorite folder, which has logged a lot of hours but doesn’t get much ride time anymore, is the Kabar Dozier.

I've carried this Gerber for years. Flick of the wrist and it's open. Almost wore out. I had 2 new one's and gave them away to my garage builder guys. They were happy. Great knife and I use it several times a day.

My last daily was this Swiss Army "floral" knife. Amazing simple knife and always sharp.
I actually bought this knife, my watch in Switzerland when I was training for the National Ski Patrol.
Amazing times.

I really like the partially serrated blade; super useful to saw through all kinds of tuff stuff, especially old poly rope and similar things. Having the serrated edge allows you saw stuff without dulling your finer cutting edge.

This will turn into a bunch of unused knives posed with cigars, IPAs, bourbon and firearms.

Not currently working so don't have my normal knife but a small SOG twitch 2 in my pocket

I've noticed you have posted this same line of thought multiple times without adding anything constructive to the threads.
What gives? Just bored? Did it take 12 years to figure out this is a tool forum with an open door to both users and collectors?
Not hating, just concerned you have lost interest.

Recently changed my knife choice to the Gerber Prybrid. Use the heck out of it. It's the second utility knife bladed pocket knife I've carried as I am not nice to blades and I appreciate a sharp edge when needed. It came with a clip which I removed instantly but for what I need a knife for, it works well.20260717_104908.jpg
