Williams M-51 rebuild kit

Hey folks, new to the forum.
I have a quick question. I’ve come across gramp’s old Williams M-51 1/4” ratchet. It’s in need of a rebuild. Any suggestions as to where to find one?

Why do you think it needs a rebuild? Have you pulled the gear out, and checked it for damage?

As has been mentioned, I would disassemble it and inspect the gear and pawl. Those are pretty robust parts, and not likely to be damaged. It probably needs cleaning and fresh machine oil for the mechanism. As far as a rebuild kit, I have collected vintage Williams tools for years and have never seen one. If parts are needed, you will probably have to purchase a "donor" ratchet.
