I live in Northern NJ, I chose to use a combination of the coin top and flow thru, I do a lot of projects in my garage and don't enjoy trying to pick a 10 x 32 nut out from between the slats of the flow thru tiles but didn't want any rain or snow that had accumulated on my car to end up all over the floor.
I marked off where the tires would rest on the floor and using six flow thru tiles in each of these spots made a place for this run off to collect. It has worked out great for me. I don't know it you are aware but I would strongly advise you to place that black weed control cloth on your concrete floor before laying down the RaceDeck. There will be a clicking noise as you walk across the floor as the tiles come in contact with the concrete, despite everyone's best effort no concrete floor will be perfectly flat so some gap will result, and that causes the clicking noise. Below are a couple of pictures of what it looks like, you can see the flow thru tiles in the picture.
