It's universal. One of my biggest gripes about camping with a group is people setting **** atop my coolers. I've been known to just open the damned thing and dump it all on the ground. It's a lid, not a table.Flat Surface Disease. A lot of members here are victims of this scourge of indiscriminate piling.
Watered lawns. Mowed lawns
All the lockers at the DuPont textile plant here had sheet metal add on tops at a 45 degree angle to keep items from being placed on top for safety reasons. It's universal. Stupidest design "feature" on a cooler is cup holders on top. I've thought about designing a barrel-roof clip-on for coolers--like old sea chests--to make it impossible to sit anything on it.
Watered in the morning, mowed in the afternoon. It's hot and dry. I sharpened knives while the watering was happening and my outside station for sharpening was still in the shade. Lots of multi-tasking today. For instance, right now I'm posting this AND drinking a beer. No rest for the weary! In that order? Or different lawns?
Great idea! All the lockers at the DuPont textile plant here had sheet metal add on tops at a 45 degree angle to keep items from being placed on top for safety reasons.

It’s not a bad place to put your drink while you’re sitting on your cooler.Stupidest design "feature" on a cooler is cup holders on top.
As long as it's your cooler! It’s not a bad place to put your drink while you’re sitting on your cooler.

The stuggle is real. Wow, look at this work bench I'll be able to quickly do projects... two weeks later **** I need to try and clean this flat surface back off. Haha FSD.Once I cured the LSDA* disease, the FSD went away on its own.
*Lay stuff down ANYWHERE.
I've threatened to mount all of my kitchen counters on hinges with lift cylinders underneath that'll automatically tilt the countertops to a 45° angle just to keep down the clutter. All the lockers at the DuPont textile plant here had sheet metal add on tops at a 45 degree angle to keep items from being placed on top for safety reasons.

My workshop surfaces are less cluttered with various objects than our 9 foot kitchen peninsula. Here today, gone tomorrow, back the next day. We don’t give each other grief about either place. My brother in law’s wife is persnickety as hell about utter orderliness. She has threatened to go out and clean up his 2,000 sq ft shop several times, and it is actually pretty orderly. He hid a spare parts car behind his shop for about a year before she discovered it and bitched until he stripped it and got rid of the carcass. Get back, devil woman!I've threatened to mount all of my kitchen counters on hinges with lift cylinders underneath that'll automatically tilt the countertops to a 45° angle just to keep down the clutter.
This is what you need, so people stop putting their drinks on top of your cooler. Open the lid & clip these on the sides. It's universal. I know you are more creative - design an insert to the holder for the cans that allows them to swivel and stay upright when you open the lidIt's universal. ah, yes, I have that bad.Flat Surface Disease. A lot of members here are victims of this scourge of indiscriminate piling.
You can still live a a good workshop life as long as you maintain a pathway to the chair and room for your feet!ah, yes, I have that bad.
Lightning did a number in the PNW.
I carry at least two tables. Set your damned drink down on one. Better yet, hold it in your hand and drink it.
More expected today. Pretty much finishes the camping season--especially as I was planning a trip right through the center of the cluster to the west of me.Lightning did a number in the PNW.
If you spin the lathe up with the motor and polish the pulley steps one at a time by switching the belt to the others you will not have to remove the spindle unless you just can’t help yourself.
Wife wants me to take her tent camping, she has never been. Camping to me must have a fire, so i guess we are out for the time being.I carry at least two tables. Set your damned drink down on one. Better yet, hold it in your hand and drink it.

The spindle comes out exceptionally easy, at least compared to my Logan or the SouthBend I used to have. I need to pull it anyway to make the repair to the left side guard that I plan on anyway. If you spin the lathe up with the motor and polish the pulley steps one at a time by switching the belt to the others you will not have to remove the spindle unless you just can’t help yourself.![]()
