help please, coax fitting broke out of tv.

i tried researching on my own... my geezer brain can't comprehend the madness i ran into.
my hd tv coax fitting came/broke out of port location.
i only use this tv for live broadcast local station channels in the shop.
i don't stream or get cable on the property, only wifi from a xfinity router for my lap top.
my roko tv has different "in" ports i guess you'd call them.
i originally programed my channels using the roko platform (i guess), nothing else added to my digital antenna.
1st pic showing coax with broke male fitting outa tv (on right).
2nd pic showing ports on tv.
3rd pic showing back of x router.
is there a converter/adapter for the coax to connect to one of the other "in" ports.
most are hdmi ports.
i never signed in/up with roko 4 years ago when i bought new.

thx so far, i don't believe its for broadcast tv antenna hook up.
this part i don't understand from its directions.
thx again.

Looking at your TV I did not see any ethernet input ports. IF you have any, there also exist cables that connect from coax to ethernet.
Maybe that helps someone…..

that will not work for OTA RF signals. you need a modulator for that like the one below.

EDIT: I mixed up modulator and tuner.... you need a tuner...

wow did something melt your TV? what is all that tan stuff on the back?

the Xfinity router has no bearing on the issue at hand.

unfortunately there is no easy way to repair that.

best bet is to get the modulator i posted above

Those signals are CCTV type signals but neither of those will work for OTA RF signals.

lol... someone noticed the angle grinder w/ cutoff wheel getting to where the broke piece came from...
male piece was somehow cheap diecast tac welded to whatever it connected to.
it been causing issues few months back so i got it working with strong signal and glued the coax to the tv back.
it worked couple weeks and died.
thx, i'll look into modulator fixing it.

It won’t. He needs an external tuner, like linked in my previous post. The only other options are repairing the coax port, or buying a new tv. The tuner is cheaper than a tv, and easier than repairing it.

this is second paragraph of your link,
  • NTSC RF Output： Supports NTSC format output with CH3 (61.25MHz) and CH4 (67.25MHz), converting HDMI signals to RF for antenna TVs and RF-input displays. HDMI to RF conversion only, RF to HDMI not supported.

You need an external tuner as stated. A modulator would need to plug into the very coaxial jack you no long have. Connect the output of the tuner to one of the HDMI jacks on your TV. The newer devices used in current turners can give you some better sensitivity so you may get a bonus of more available stations OTA. If your feeling plush, Best Buy has TVs for under $100.

The link you posted will not work. no where on the box does it say RF. there is even a picture showing it will not work with RF on the amazon listing

The pic you posted here is of the item i shared. 2 different things here. youre mixing them up

the modulator i linked to has HDMI output.

yeah i mixed up modulator and tuner... my bad... what you need is a tuner... thats what i get for being in a hurry...

I dont know how old your tv is or what size it is but as cheap as they have gotten by the time you buy all of that other stuff and go through the hassle of hooking it up you may be way better off just going to Walmart and getting a new tv.

If you find a good electronic repair shop (possible even a PC/telephone repair place) they may be able to repair the coax input.

If not, HDTV are CHEAP. Buy a new one (shop Walmart) and sell the old one. 90+% of the world does NOT use coax inpput !

(I sold an old iPhone X that had a broken GPS receiver. Purchase gave it to her little kid to watch videos !)

Go to Goodwill or Habit for Humanity and and look at the used TVs. Everyone donates them as they upgrade their home setup, and there should be quite a few available for a very good price.
