I recently ordered a set of Wilde (USA) mini prybars for HJE Day, but those aren't strike-through. I won't feel guilty bashing the foreign ones!

I should have read the descriptions better! Received the 2-pack today. Those are NOT strike-through. I'm not happy about that, but not upset enough to return them. They'll still be the "beaters."

If you look closer, they sell two different packages:

One package is for 1/8" pry bar with magnet + 3/16" plain handle one. This is the package all of you and I bought.

Another package is for a single 1/4" pry bar with a strike cap

So, there are three different pry bars between the packages: 1/8" with magnet, 3/16" with plane handle, and 1/4" with strike cap.

Mine add shows a 1/4" as one and then a 1/8 and 3/16" as the twin pack. My twin pack arrived yesterday and is 1/8" and 3/16". My 1/4" is a week out.

looking again that add it is deceiving. Look at the pry bars in the pics. Totally different handles. Mine are the red with black stripes, not all red. The 3/16 is just a plastic cap on the end. That have the Lisle script on the handles.

Just be thankful it wasn't one of those products with a hundred different nonsensical options.

I recieved that pair of small prybars. They have the larger striped handle, and that 1/8" one has a magnet.

My 1/4" one is a couple of weeks out still.

I'm reasonably certain even the old solid red-handled design was made in China. I even contacted Lisle to ask about country of origin, some years ago.

Their shanks are not super thick, they don't have pocket clips or striking caps, but they're made by Wilde Tool in the USA. And they're 8 bucks for the set of two.

I've spent way too much money buying multiple sets of them over the past year, and I've found them pretty useful.

Must be on the slow boat, though it hasn’t been shipped yet.

RE: goofy electric connector pliers:

^ If my memory serves me correctly, the ones I bought on Amazon were about $20 bucks for the pair - straight and angled.
Those were the ones I shipped out for "Secret Santa".
The $40 Lisle model went to my buddy, and later he got a $12.00 pair (China PRC) I found up in Sequim.
Right now there's a pair of them out in the living room, which I believe came in at just under $20 for the pair

I don’t have these (yet), but the price per unit is close to the Lisle. Two are magnetic end and three have striking caps.

Still waiting for my 1/4" lisle prybars to show up. I ordered two of them. I had my post yanked here last week after the topic came up of the walmart prybars. I mentioned no support from walmart if they are from walmart bought a third party seller. Wasnt a hot deal post was the reason. No, but many of the other posts are not either. Just glad i got my Dunham cart a few months ago on the hot deal items. Makes a good spot for these prybars to sit on.
