Does anyone have an extra Bonney T-702K 3/8 drive ratchet pawl they don't need? Or a ratchet pawl for the 1/2" drive click-type torque wrench? I understand that the 1/2" torque wrench uses the 3/8" guts, which may explain why the pawl broke in my torque wrench. I bought an eBay 1/2" Bonney ratchet to rob for parts, only to find the pawls are too big for the 1/2" torque wrench.

Thank you!

So I bought a T-702K 3/8 off eBay for parts. Turns out that, while the pawls’ outer geometry is what I need, the pivot pins and holes are smaller than on the 1/2” drive torque wrench. So it’s back to square one. There is no way the smaller pins would handle the max torque the torque wrench is rated for. In fact, both original, bigger pivot pins on the 1/2” wrench fractured. I don’t know whether the pins broke before or after the pawl. I conclude that the Bonney 1/2” click type torque wrench was simply under-designed.

Hi. It sounds like maybe it's 1/2 in a 3/8 body? The 1/2 Bonney heads are kind of huge so that would make sense. Could try searching for Utica torque wrenches and parts.
