Workspaces between 705 and 1200 squarefeet.
It's amazing how a beer/beers and a "**** it" can send the project moving forward! I had to do that in a similar situation with the '78 El Camino SS I had. Decided to give it the Trans Am treatment with snowflake wheels and a hood shaker...cutting the hole in the hood took A LOT of beer/confidence, it all worked out great
Glad you guys can relate/appreciate! Past Mike did learn that when you wake up and dont remember, it was too far over the line.....but the occasional, its just metal, fuckit, is a good kick in ***.
i've got a the wheel dollies that I set the car on when it has the suspension under it, so hoping i can use those and some 4x4 scraps I have laying around to make something crude. It doesn't need to go far, just manageable to move
My entire jeep tub project moces great on 3 harbor freight flat furniture dollies. 2 are connected with a 2x4 and one sits in the front with a chunk of 2x6 on it. Doesnt take much to roll on good concrete. It even does well rolling it outside and crossing the transition coming back into the shop

I've been going to the Veil since they opened. My SIL lives down the block from one of their locations, but we go to the Scotts Addition location in Richmond for the better food selection. I am also mainly an IPA guy, but do love a good Stout, especially a Bourbon Barrel. My last beer there was this....
...weirdest IPA (that worked) I had (not the Veil) was a Gin Barrel aged Imperial IPA. What a kick *** beer. Sadly, that brewery no longer exists..... are you on Untapped?
Oh, thats awesome, I have a buddy that lives up that way that used to bring me beer from them! I used to find some of their beer around here at occasionally, but haven't looked much lately. Aslin is another good one, stopped there when picked up my Cayman!

The beer rabbit hole is large and draws me in. Aslin and The Veil are two fantastic places. Lucky to have so much great beer here in NC but also access to so much great stuff up and down the coast.
Not too much action this weekend, Saturday morning started off with normal morning dog/coffee routine followed by trying to make a decision if we'd run up to Charlotte to Ikea to pickup the cabinets for the murphy bed project, but w/o any communication we were torn....I had an email saying that our "scheduled pick-up time" was between 10-11am, well at 8am, no notification that our order was ready, then 817am, notification txt came through, so we put our coffee in tumblers and hit the road.
Upon getting home and unloading a buddy came over to help me get the OEM Cayman wheels out of the garage attic and moved the project car to get ready to bring the Cayman into the lift bay to start the tire swap and under carriage photos. Followed by a pool day at our friends for the wives bday.
After some family time Sunday morning I started assembling the Ikea cabinets, I have to admit, they are pretty nice, certainly not as nice a a cabinet maker would build, but for the cost, I am impressed.
Got them stood up and assembled, now need to run to get some 2x4s to build some blocking to space them out and get them attached to the walls.
Not great photos, but I like how tall they are, should work well for what we are going for look wise

Need to see how far I can get on these tonight, waiting on my neighbor/builder buddy to stop by and make sure I'm not over complicating this too much! LOL

Are those the PAX system cabinet frames? We just bought a couple with drawers and shelves for the redo of our Master closet....
Mike I did my whole kitchen, master bath and laundry room with Ikea cabinets when we built our house. They have held up impressively for 10 years and kept us on budget since my builder apparently only budgeted for about 1/3 or the cabinets we needed. While I cant say I have solid plywood cabonets built from baltic birch, I can say these things work and work well. Looking forward to seeing how this design works out!

These are PAX system frames, we bought a kit/system, whatever they call it, this is the configuration we went with. The area in the center will be the murphy bed
