Hi,
I am new to this forum hoping to get some guidance on a this wrench box from Thorsen.
I found it in my in-laws house as we were clearing it out. It looks like it has not been in use at all. I am writing from Germany and I could not get a lot of information here on Thorsen. Could anybody tell me what it is worth? Thank you so much. I appreciate it.

Welcome to the Garage Journal. Here is a link to the main Thorsen thread.
Your set was made towards the end of Thorsen’s US production.

Your set is late-production stuff, made after the move to Dallas.
Nothing uncommon.
In 1983, a 4019 Thorsen set had a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $39.69
One of those just sold on ebay on August 6th for almost that, amazingly.

Thorsen is a tough sell. I am now down to one 3/8" drive set and one 1/4" drive set.
Check "sold" listings on ebay - that's the only way to get any idea of "market value".
If I saw it at a garage sale, I might pay $5.00 for it, but knowing how hard they are to sell, I might just leave it for the next guy.
