Excellent pick up. Gotta love KurbMart deals like that. I may have scored an item or two……

Can you tell how old it is via the info plate on the deck?
I can’t and didn’t think it would be worth my time to try to figure it. Now if it had been a Honda I would have tried.

Not a tool, but about 15 days ago I found a new, apparently unused and unmarked Harbor Freight bucket. I guess it flew out of the bed of a pickup truck. And coming back from New Orleans yesterday I saw two, possibly 3, at various places alongside the road. Are HF five-gallon pails lighter than normal and thus more prone to flying out of truck beds?

Might be 2020 based on the serial number?

It's a Briggs engine, so there are undoubtedly numbers stamped on the engine (usually the valve cover) that can be used to nail down its build date.

Hard rubbish collection was our suburb last week. Acquired this drill press as I was about to go for a bike ride, it was sitting across from my driveway. Seems to run well enough, but probably needs a bearing replaced somewhere because of the noise. Not going to replace my floor standing press, but I'll put it to work somewhere.

Passed on some rubber tarp straps yesterday as it was unsafe to stop. Really don't need them anyway, was more about getting the S hooks out of the travel lane. I use that road frequently and don't need one through my tire.
Haven't seen anything real good lately, but I keep my eyes peeled!
