Fabulous restorations! Those CM pedestals make it look like those machines would easily fall over from normal use but I guess they're pretty heavy/stable.

Once the casters are retracted, the tool sits pretty firmly on the floor.

Interesting how I came to use that color.

My wife and I went to Ace Hardware to pick out a color for the drill press restoration that was not a common choice among the machines.

She picked out a can of the blue and I said, “nah” and continued my search. She hit me with the “wife face” that says, well that was dismissive’.

Being light on my feet and recognizing impending trouble upon exiting the store, I said, “lemee take a closer look at that in a better light………,you know, that just might work”. Hardship avoided, and harmony prevails.

I just wonder how many more things I have to paint blue…….
Great story...I have been there. Thanks for the paint color.
