One may think that this is a simple picture however its not. It’s a combination of vision and craftsmanship with years in the making. The headlights were designed by Restomod Tech. Utilizing Scott CAD skills we designed the off grill which wad 3D printed. He also created the matching hood trays, side vents, and cowl vents which were machined out if billet aluminum. Tony @ automods used my combination led/ halo lights and after scanning and printing created a bezel that attached to the factory turn signal light location. Dynamic Corvettes built the 63 factory hood that was smooth on both sides. I designed and build the front spoiler. @mangobaymetalworks narrowed and tucked the front bumpers. Aarik Bundy did the bodywork and the paint.Corvette front.jpg

I have been talking about it for some time, but I wanted to take the next step in my garage. For 13 years or more, you guys have witnessed the building of the garage and all the car builds that have happened here. After building the Corvette, both Lincoln’s the Chevy van and a few others. I’ve decided that I’m going to clean my act up in the garage. Therefore, I’ve decided that I’m not gonna do any more bodywork or paint work in the garage. I’m going to transform the interior into more of a man cave. Not that it hasn’t been, but I want to really organize, decorate and create a cool place to hang out and play with cars. There will be no more full builds done in my garage. I’m going to continue the theme. I started with bricks and stucco on the loft area on the remaining walls. You can see where I’ve already started laying different sections of brick and I will be running the 16 inch stucco band all the way around the inside of the garage with the corrugated roofing on the upper 4 ft. I wanna try to make everything match and flow in the garage.IMG_4119.jpeg

The 62 Corvette belongs to a good friend of mine. He brought it over about six weeks ago so we could put Vintage Air in it. I decided since we had a radiator out to replace the radiator and you know kind of what happens with projects. He decided since he was in a air-conditioned garage with the left that he would clean his whole undercarriage, and install new springs and shocks, replace tire rod ends, and some other stuff. I’ve talked him into putting one of those retro sound. Bluetooth radios in it with a nice dual voice coil 6 x 9 speaker in the dashboard. I happen to have a retro sound subwoofer sitting around still in the box. I ended up giving him the sub and it really turned out to be a nice sounding system. We also painted the underside of the hood ,painted the grill and some other miscellaneous parts. We’re about done so it’s very close to leaving. I really love the color combination on this vette. I think it looks classy. I don’t have a immediate build in mind for me. I am doing a 65 Corvette for a buddy of mine and just trying to finish up the Corvette and a few other things I need to do to the van. I really fired up about doing the stucco treatment on my other walls, painting the ceiling and some other cool stuff to make the garage a little bit more attractive. I mean, you know me I’m a sucker for any project and I'm really having a good time.
