A bit off topic.. Fake Rocks for well heads?

I hope this is okay to post here.. The well head is close to my garage, does that count? LOL

I want to purchase a fake rock to put over my well head.. I want the highest quality there is, don't really care what it cost so long as it's somewhat reasonable.

Does anyone have any experience with these things? Is there a certain brand that is much better than the rest?

I have one that the well driller supplied. It has been in the yard for 10-15 years.. Your location may dictate what you need for insulation properties of the cover.

I had one of the fake rocks, but built this instead to use as a sitting bench.

*%&$ing fake rocks. Everyone hides their underground propane tank lids under them. Some are really good that causes you to go around and kick rocks in the yard. Some not so much. Never seen a name on them underneath that was very visible.

At a previous house my wife & I & my wife's mom lived at the well head was in the middle of the front lawn & bugged my MIL no end. We bought from a local shed builder a cedar wishing well to cover it. Similar to the one pictured.

I live the same problem servicing generators...bushes too close and overgrown.

If its close to the garage, I might try come up with a piece of garage theme yard art....old gas pump.


Heck, how big is you well head ? An old fire hydrant might just over top of it.
