I built a house 2 years ago and decided I wanted an climate controlled shop attached to my garage, cheaper than building a free standing shop. I built my garage 26' x 26' so I could fit two large vehicles plus other things and attached this shop 20' x 26' to it so that when the weather is bad I can thru my house and walk thru the garage and into my climate controlled shop.

Just wanted to share some more recent pics once I got it all setup.

A couple of key notes:

- I am 6'4" and wanted all my outlets up higher than the standard 16", so all outlets are at 48" height both 120 and 240.

- Dedicated electrical circuits for 24K BTU HVAC, Air Compressor, TIG Welder and Mill.

- Installed hot and cold water lines and industrial sink, must have in my books.

I have thoroughly enjoyed having this dedicated space for projects, as you can see I have a slight addiction to motorcycles and just purchased another one to add a 1968 Yamaha YL1 that I will pick up in October.

Build custom engines, suspension, restoration and small fabrication projects, all as a hobby.

The Lady of the House would always know where to find me,
I'd never leave.
Even if only just to have a cup of coffee and listen to some tunes.

Nice.

Plus, a lathe and a mill?
My kinda guy.

Nice. We recently moved and I'm in the process of designing that exact same size addition to our garage, mine will be a woodshop however.
