The Bay Area box is really full. Someone needs to send me a Toolmobile.
I know where there is a 2 drawer PressWeld?

If anyone needs one its don!
I am still toolmobileless here.I dunno, I'd guess Roy needs maybe a baker's dozen after that last collection buy...
Indeed. And for those for whom those electroplating rack marks may not be so well known and who have not seen the thread dedicated to the subject while perusing the A to Z Index of Threads in the Stickie at the top of the forum...The well known chrome discoloration common to Plomb wrenches of the period
I have one that works. Seems pretty delicate though, not sure what I would use it on.
I can’t remember. I’ll have to checkNice. Is that a WF-126?
That is what the Plomb catalog calls a Hog Jaw wrench. Not easy to come by. I think they had 4 sizes and that is the most common one by what I have seen. Overall a very great find in the wild. I have only ever seen 5 in my years of collecting.
I decided to pick up a later WF-38 to use as a donor for the handle posted above. When it arrived it was in good enough condition to clean up and put back together. One of the Plomb items that came with my Ell handle was this WF-38 1/2” drive ratchet missing a screw and the detent piece and spring. The remaining screw was so damaged that I was forced to drill off the head to get it apart.
Once disassembled, I cleaned it up.
I have spare screws in the Bay Area to get it working again. I have seen a correct size ball bearing used with a spring in place of the missing detent so I may try that. I have a rusty non WF 5449 1940 version of this ratchet so this one may end up being used as a parts donor.

There are so many variants for the WF ratchets. I think @RubiconJK posted some of his a while back.I decided to pick up a later WF-38 to use as a donor for the handle posted above. When it arrived it was in good enough condition to clean up and put back together.
I probably need to stretch out the springs a little as it isn’t staying in its set position in one direction. Here are the two WF-38 ratchets together.
