Mr. Brane is using a 1973 Marantz system. Not much BT compatibility there.

That little BT/USB device is the source. Its a tunable FM transmitter. So you listen to the BT on your (any era) FM tuner/receiver.
With 2 USB ports it runs my Garmen GPS, and the mem stick for music, my daughters uses hers off her phone's playlist.

I like having the tiny ignition wrench as it makes it a little harder to twist the end of the gen tip off when tightening--which is ridiculously easy to do.

The ignition wrench is 2-1/2" give or take. the 1/2 is about 2" - and one less thing (to lose) in the parts well.

I'm just not sure how well that wrench section will take a hacksaw and file, and If I really want to spend that time doing it:

Realistically, carrying a spare gen makes more sense than carrying the gen tip wrench. I have the Big Box o' Coleman Tools when I get back from the trip.

Already done - NOS, nickle plated too. - I made the clips from fuse holders of 2 different sizes. :

why not use a bluetooth adapter - does the marantz have RCA in? maybe i am misunderstanding what you are trying to do.

i used one of these on a few receivers with good success.

Is this what you’re trying to do? I own this one and it worked well enough.


Bluetooth FM Transmitter

I use a similar one - that can use a USB mem stick as the source - or your phone for music, or regular car BT stuff.

That's an input device. My FM transmitter is for sending a signal to the other stereos on the property. My 2 sources are my Benchmark DAC fed by the M4 Mac Mini, and the Sirius satellite radio receiver that are plugged into the aux, and tape in on the Marantz respectively. The tape out on the Marantz feeds the input of the FM transmitter so I can have the same music on all the other stereo systems from my chosen source. It's nice when moving from different rooms, and the garage working on projects. The neighbors can enjoy it too if they tune in to FM 100.1 . It's pretty clear for about 1/2-3/4 mile radius.

Time, energy and funds I can't justify to have power in my shed. I have some motion LED battery lights in there..they eat batteries and provide minimal light.

Hot Wheels 18 to 12 volt reducer, LED camper lights and marine switch and batteries I already have.. and I have a better version. Here's a quick test with 1 of the 4 lights. I plan to use all 4. Wire and mount them permanently tomorrow. Pics no order...

Cleaned up the bell housing for the 4runner and got it bolted back onto the trans. Removed the rear main seal on the engine. Could not get the pilot bearing out with my new cheap amazon blind puller. Will try again tomorrow. How much heat can I put on the end of the crankshaft? I really dont want to cut the bearing out. I will try the bread trick as option 2 or 3 tomorrow.

Tuesday lost power, led 6v flashlight was very dim. Disassembled to find it had a 4 d cell pack with freaking coppertops that were leaking. Threw batteries in the trash, flashlight into the ultrasonic with dawn professional, cleaned, dried, and a used 4.7v tested 6v battery installed. working now. Then 3 d printed an assembly part. While printing i scabbed together a test bed for baja lights doing testing to determine what i need to make the work in the manner i so desire.
The challenge is to make them operate on the existing installed vehicle system and then using them outside the system as wanted, running on of the 17 patterns.

I've been trying to eradicate all the Leakacells from all my stuff. Some if it got ruined.

Grease and an appropriate size driver should pop it out.
