Youths get 15 years for fatal theft of signs

Two youths and and a girl convicted of stealing 20 road stop signs were each sentenced to 15 years for manslaughter in the Florida city of Tampa yesterday.

Looks like someone was trying to dig that sign up.

Not shown in the photo. They left grill and headlight parts they were obviously using to "dig up" the sign? A couple of reflectors on posts knocked down also. Tire tracks into the local flora.

Obviously it was bent over by the car hitting it, but I was also looking at the base of the post. There's a depression around it like someone had been digging.
