Picked up a pair of HF 22T jackstands

Have to pull transmission on my F150 and my 25 Y/O tractor supply jackstands seemed a bit sketchy so picked up a pair of the 22T at local HF. Seems rock solid! But only go up about 19-1/2" so have them on some blocks.



Put the extra pair under rear axle for a little redundancy the centers aren't even taking any weight.



Well about to get started we'll see how this goes lol.

so concerned about the sketchiness of your old jackstands that you bought new ones, yet the ones you have under the rear are far more concerning, I bet.

These are barely on the 2x so any movement of the vehicle might cause a corner to slip off and then it's relying on the others to stay stable.





Of the two that are on the 1x, only one is doing anything at all, so until/unless the outer one slips off the 2x, it is just a cheerleader.

I saw that they were significantly larger size-wise and I'm space constrained ATM. Probably going to bring the 22s upstate to take some weight off my boat trailer axles over winter. The 22s seem much beefier than the 12s aside from weight rating just how they are made. Way overkill for what I'm doing but that's ok.

Yeah I said in op the centers aren't supporting any weight at all just put them there for redundancy. These stands sink right into the blacktop without the 2x12s underneath I've been using them on the same blocks for years. I was concerned about the height and how far I had them extended in front more than anything else. Im comfortable how its set up now gave the truck a solid push from all directions and its not moving. Im also working center front and wheels are still on vehicle if it completely dropped I'd still be OK.

We used those all the time to hold wrecker trucks weighing 60,000lbs. Super solid design.

The two on the ends are supporting load and are presumably good for 12 tons. Maybe 1-1/2 tons on them. I'm good.

FWIW, while you have it up in the air, drop the spare, check pressure, tire bead for corrosion and lube up the crank mechanism.

Got a bunch of DIY garage reps whenever the guys see those massive 22 ton jack stands . Got them on super sale with some leftover HF money rewards making them reasonably affordable. I really needed the 12 ton jack stands for the height during axle removal on a lifted jeep.

How about these for height? This was at end of the MIA mover line. I'm curious about the tonnage these are rated for.

I have little interest in the 22 tonners but I am intrigued by the new high lift badlands stands.



19-inch minimum to 33-inch max. Plenty to do just about anything you'd need to do under a light truck.

In the customer reviews of them, one guy uploaded a photo of his 90s Bronco with a 4" lift on 35" tires. So I'm gonna say "yes"

Ya know, I've seen some jeep liberty bolted to lifted frames and it was kinda neat. Same for the Nissan juke. I kinda want to stick a Ridgeline on a frame now!
