Intraseal in exterior concrete - compatibility with penetrating sealers?

I had the exterior concrete pad poured for my new shop last week - it was about 27 yards total. Square footage is just about 1450ft².

I saw on the batch sheet from the plant that they used the Intraseal additive in the concrete.

It's only been placed a week, I noticed last night that when I spilled a little water on it from mopping the interior slab, it absorbed immediately.

I was planning on using PS101 on the slab after it's been fully cured a month. I asked ConcreteSealersUSA about this yesterday, he was not familiar with the Intraseal product and how it might impact the PS101 performance. He suggested calling the ready mix plant and asking them, as well as a water drop test.

Has anyone used a penetrating sealer on concrete with this additive? How did it turn out?

I thought I would reply to this with an update in case anyone else goes looking for an answer on this like I did.

I did more research on the Intraseal and determined that it gains strength/water resistance over time. We've had quite a lot of rain here in the few weeks since the exterior slab was poured and water has never beaded up on it. I decided that as long as it'd pass the water drop test, I'd go with a water based sealer

I ended up going with the PS101. I ordered 10 gallons, which should have been slightly more than I'd needed according to their literature. I blew everything off with a blower, vacuumed the whole pad, and then masked the building with plastic to protect it from overspray. I dropped some water a few places on the slab and it was all absorbed within 5 minutes. They were calling for rain in the morning, which thankfully never came and I was looking at a minimum of 24 dry hours, so I went ahead with the application. My slab was 30 days old at this point.

I used a Dewalt 20V backpack sprayer with the brass nozzle set to a cone pattern. I had the sprayer on the #3 setting, which ultimately ended up being too high of a flow, so I backed it down to #2. I started at one end of the slab and sprayed it in a circular pattern as I walked. Where I had too much initially, I spread the product out using a 3/8" nap microfiber roller (the lowest nap I could get at Menards). Once I dialed the sprayer down, this was no longer necessary.

Maintaining a wet edge made getting a uniform pattern pretty easy, there were a couple times when I stopped to refill the sprayer that the edge dried/absorbed just enough that it looked strange when I sprayed over it (like I had missed a spot) but I kept going.

Ultimately, I used about 4.5 gallons on the whole area (1450ft²). This is right in the range of what their calculator says for troweled/dense surfaces, even though it's a broom finish. I assume the Intraseal was already densifying the concrete.

I had enough left that I hit my (very old) concrete parking pad with it as well. I had cleaned this earlier in the day in preparation for this exact scenario. It definitely took more (probably two gallons for 360ft²) and it darkened a portion of the concrete (which doesn't really bother me).

The application notes say you can apply a light second coat 24 hours after the first one if water absorbs within 3-5 minutes. I went out after lunch today and put several quarter sized water drops on both my new slab and the old slab. None of them had absorbed in two hours - so I think this job is officially done.
