So I got bit by the snap on bug and I have been looking at and buying a bunch of snap on tools. But, I can't seem to find blue anything... Did snap on make blue hard handles? And if so when?

They show up on eBay from time to time... based on the money the bring, I'm thinking that they're probably platinum filled.

I just sold three of them, including a ratcheting to one of our members here for considerably less than platinum price.

the only blue ones are at home by the brown ones and the green ones. sorry.... those are super rare to find on a dealer truck. I have a lot of older hard handle ones like the 12 inch number 3 that is hard to find anymore sddp123

If these hard handles are so popular, I don't understand why snap on isn't going crazy mass producing them. How hard is it to make colored handle screwdrivers. The demand is obviously there... why not make more money?

I got my set of seven dark blue hard handles in 2002. They were used of the truck. They were in great shape when I got them and they still are today because I hardly use them.

Got my dark blue screwdrivers in the early 90's because I wanted a different color than eerybody else had, also got a set of the Aqua blue Bel Air set to match my Bel Air Box, never opened them still in the screwdriver drawer.

Same here, in fact I think those Bel Air screwdriver's will never ever be used by anyone.

I have a few blue handled ones that I've collected over the years. I never bought any of the more rare colors (pearl blue, pink, bel-air aqua, pearl white)...I do have a few of the dark green ones which are not pictured....Those are interesting, in that they are NOT the "Ducks Unlimited" ones.

so these would be the pearl blue ones?

I know this is an old thread but a tech in my shop has this set above. They have ACR shanks in them and he said he got them through Acura as a reward for training or something. When I told them how rare they are and how much they get on ebay he said he had the original flyer from Acura someone and he would dig it up. I'll post pics of his and the flyer if you guys want to see it.
