Great story! Thanks for sharing. I love my Bay Lift!In 1964 I worked for a transmission shop that used a bay lift to get the cars on high jackstands so the transmissions could be removed. The back of the car was raised by the rear end housing, then a pair of jackstands were placed on the frame in the middle of the car. We then lowered the lift and the car would pivot on the jackstands and the front of the car would raise high enough to place two more high jackstands in front. We would then raise the baylift again and move the middle jackstands back so the bay lift could be removed. This got cars about three feet off the ground. Ours was red with white highlights like on the fork tips and so forth. My boss at the time told me I would at some time be careless and not look where the baylift was going and punch hole in a gas tank. About two weeks later he was right and I was off to a junkyard for another gas tank. Didn't do that again... I don't post much but I had to tell that story. Yours looks great!

Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. JesusNice Work, Do you have a model number? I probably can find you a exploded view diagram to keep with your treasure, Free of charge.![]()
