What is the difference?
Search function and google would have answered this quickly.
Good thing Obama is fighting to rise the minimum wage for folks like this.
Its a good question. And.there are SK guys that can really line u out on this. One difference I have noticed is wall thickness in 1/4.sockets.

I just broke a SK Wayne Ratchet I feel like a tool myself now I didnt know they were collectible and rather sought after
A guy by the name of Symington Wayne owned S-K from 1962 to 1969. All S-K tools made from 1964 on had the "Wayne" inscription.

I snapped it in half had a 40 inch pipe on it...there is no Excuse for what I didSacrilege! How did it break? Meaning, what part broke?

Not an individual, George. The Symington-Wayne Corporation began when the Wayne Pump Company of Fort Wayne, IN was purchased by C.J. Symington in 1949. In the late 1950s, the name was changed to Symington-Wayne followed by the acquisition of S-K and Lectrolite.
(As an aside, Symington-Wayne Corporation also acquired NYE Tool and Die in 1964 and this quality manufacturer of plumbing tools was subsequently run as the "NYE Tool Company, Division of Symington Wayne Corporation".)
Yea the gear still works just fineAnd yet I bet you didn't harm the gear/pawl at all...........tough to fix a broken in half ratchet![]()

I was just digging through my extra tools last night and noticed that I have S-K, S-K Wayne, and S-K Tools marked sockets.
Anyone know if the S-K Tools sockets are older or newer than S-K Wayne era?
My dad has a box of misc. SK stuff and I know for a fact some of the wrenches say Wayne on them. Are they worth anything? I can get pictures later tonight
