I did a quick search and might have put in the wrong words but I just got a Blue point cart and the shocks for the lid are crappy after de stickering it and getting some liners from my Snap on guy for pretty cheap I was wondering if buying the shocks from him is the best option. They are 14" open and the sticker on them says LT08-10.

Check to see if there's some sort of warranty on the shocks... you might be able to get SO to replace them. You an also get the price of replacements from them, or get the measurements and figure the "lid load" and source them yourself...

That's a sharp looking cart. I often buy Blue Point hand tools (sockets, wrenches, vice grips) from Snap-on's website. It's solid quality for DIY use--but I don't expect professional grade quality.

But look up the lid hinges in this thread, post 3582. I believe they lock, replacing the need for the struts.
