    Breaker bars. Under utilized?

My 30" 1/2 dr. breaker bar makes loosening the harder bolts a breeze, and it does flex a bit, but I can't imagine my ratchets getting that kind of abuse for a long time.

Should I get rid of my 12 point sockets and just use 6 points?

All my sockets were 6 points, and lately I've been finding more 12 point sockets. I recently bought a 10,14 and 17mm in 1/2 drive and have a complete set in 1/4 drive. I'm also finding that if you don't rush in taking apart a bolt or nut that is frozen you normally don't round it.

    Snap On ratcheting screwdriver

I've always hated ratcheting screwdrivers, but it was because they were the cheper china ones, and the bits I was using were ****. The other day I used a good one (here we don't have access to Snap-On as easy as yours) and I already ordered a Facom one like the picture below.

Sears online order cancelled no full refund

I see this stories pop up here from time to time, and while sears offer international shipping to my country I will never buy from them. I want all my transactions to be flawless, as I am not in the USA and english is not my native language, so it's kind of hard (and expensive) for me to be...

I can take apart a car with the...

    Full polish functionally better?

I like my non-polished stuff because it's not as slippery as the full polished wrenches, but even if you clean them with a rag they look dirty, you have to spend more time cleaning them.

    Sweeping the floor

I sweep 3000sq. ft. of bare concrete with a regular broom every week or so. I found the push brooms only help me to get the bigger stuff out of the way, but all the dust stays where it was. During the week, when a car leaves the lift, I connect my blow gun to the air line and I give that zone a...

Grungy looking overhead doors - how to clean?

Industrial alkaline degreaser does wonders. I had to clean a overhead door that had several years of welding smoke and grime and that was the only thing that removed it.

My first post in this forum , and is just to say that you have done an exceptional job restoring that building, and restoring what was inside. I have been 3 days in a row reading your thread, and it was like I was there throughout the restoration. Keep the good work! Greetings from Spain
