So Id like to insulate my 36x56 barn using cellulose. It will have a metal ceiling with 4ft oc trusses. Do I need a vapor barrier or can I just apply the blown in cellulose directly to the metal?

Anybody use Pro-therm condensation blanket from menards on your walls? Company says it is used for roof and walls. They estimate R-8 which I highly doubt, just wondering if anyone has used it and what they think of it?

Do you think osb pricing might come down? Here in Michigan OSB has skyrocketed since I last checked it out in like feb of 2012. I have heard with the demand of it more mills may open up and prices will fall but I tend to think it will keep going up. Any thoughts?

Are 4x6 post enough for a 32x48x12 pole building or should I use 6x6 post? Will there be a big difference in strength? What has everyone else used? I will be using 8 inch concrete tubes on top of a concrete disk.
