I am building a detached garage along with a new home in Calgary, Alberta. Here is the prelim plan, as well as a lot pic. It is on a side slope, and am going to do all the framing myself, and am tempted to do the concrete too. Any tips?

Hey, what an awesome site, so many ideas. I am planning on building an 'L' shaped shop, due to a couple trees that are massive and I want to stay on my landscape. It will be 50'X50' on the long sides, with a 20x25 cutout on the inside (thus making it 'L' shaped)...anyone have any pix? Want it...
