The contractor for my shop is pouring the concrete today for my 30x40 pole barn. It's going to be 4" thick & an approach as well. What do I need to watch to make sure it turns out well. Here is the forecast for the next few days & we care out of the city so most likely 2*-5* cooler.

When using a small portable generator, they all seem to have a threaded stud for an earth ground. Is this to be used every time you use it or just when you use grounded plug devices?

In the process of getting a 30x40 pole barn. Still waiting on concrete & OH doors. I know I will have plenty of questions & such and there seems to be lots of information here on the forum. It will primarily be for storage & tinkering on cars. Here is a pic of it.
