Hello, I am about to install the metal roofing and vinyl siding on to my lean to style shed. I am struggling a bit with comprehending which product would be best to install the soffit into. It appears I have two choices, J trim or F channel, but with either option I can't picture the soffit...

I have scoured google and can't seem to find an answer to this question. I'd be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction. Should the bottom edge of the fascia board extend lower than the bottom of your rafter tails, and if so, by how much? I am building a lean to shed with 2x6...
