Purchased new 9 November 2004. After the tank fills, I adjust the pressure to the air tool by pulling back on the regulator knob. Turn clockwise to increase pressure to air tool. Turn counterclockwise to decrease pressure. Today when I pull the knob out, the knob will not turn either way...

I have always removed the battery cell covers and covered the cells with a wet rag while charging the battery. Other internet searches say removing the cell covers is not required. Any ideas on this subject?
