    EZ-Out Stories and Methods

i've never used that style of easy-out with success...but i've used a snap on extrcator set with the fluted rods you tap into a hole you drill into the broken-off bolt - that works GREAT!

    Living in a garage....legally?

you're from IA - just drive around the rural areas and you'll see plenty. i'm a delivery driver, so i get to see quite a few people that just put up a big morton building and section off part of it as their "house". i don't think they have it all open, though. i thought about it at one time...

this is my friend's set-up. he actually has 2 of them attached to the steel beams in the middle of the shop....not very good pics - the main interest was to be the motor being pulled and rebuilt. must say it was a breeze to use - never used a cherry picker, but this seems like a much better...

Friend Got A DEAL At Sears

"item was priced wrong" sounds like the hillbilly argument that the people at walmart hear all the time. i heard a lady tell the customer service girl that she should get that item plus another for free because of their mistake:headscrat. i'm not sure i would do that. in college i found $40...

it seems to keep slipping out of gear and going in reverse if you don't hold the center...the whole assembly seems to have quite a bit of play in it - is that how it's supposed to be?

    Recommend me some ratcheting wrenches

i've used "junk" older bulky flip-over ratchet wrenches and reversible blackhawk. i bought a set of Gearwrench reversible on sale...$39.95 - haven't used them yet, as funds haven't allowed for next project to get started, but they seem to be pretty nice - idk if i'm crazy about the cap-stop...

well, according to Menard's, a 26X26X8 is $4809 for materials...the 28X30X8 i want to build is $4864. figure even with concrete and finishing the inside, you wouldn't break 15K if you did the work yourself. my dad's built (2) 24X30X8 garages and did most with the help of friends and spent...
